Removing or changing body side moldings

Hi All

If you decide to change or remove the body side moldings, is there any protocol/procedure to follow toi it properly without damaging original paint of the car ?

Not advisable after the 3m adhesive has fully cured without the aid of a chemical that doesn’t affect the paint finish. Talk to any body shop and ask what they might use.
